View Timekeepers Page

For clients who have enabled the functionality for vendors/law firms to submit timekeepers for approval via Corridor, you can either enter the timekeepers individually, or  upload them from the timekeeper CSV (Comma-separated value) file. Once timekeepers are available, you can view the timekeepers to determine which records to submit to a client company for approval. The View Timekeepers page includes options to filter the list by client or by status, checkboxes by each record to select to submit or delete records, and links to the timekeeper records to make changes to the records before submission.

This article explains the search filters, actions, fields, and timekeeper status on the View Timekeepers page.

 

Timekeeper Grid

The timekeeper grid consists of the following fields:

Field Description
Timekeeper Id The Timekeeper Id is dependent on the Client Id.
Client Id Each timekeeper must belong to a Client Id.
Last Name The timekeeper's last name.
First Name The timekeeper's first name.
Job Classification The job classification depends on the Client Id.
Standard Rate The standard rate of the timekeeper.
Discounted Rate If a discount is applied to the standard rate, fill the discounted rate, that is, the standard rate minus the discount.
Billed Rate The billed rate is the actual amount accorded to pay to the timekeeper.
Billing Method

Possible values are:

  • Contingency
  • Hourly Rate
  • Fixed Fee
  • UTBMS
  • Retainers
Currency The currency that corresponds to the billed rate.
Begin Date The day in which billing for a matter starts for a timekeeper.
End Date The day in which billing for a matter ends for the timekeeper.
Submission Status The submission status of the timekeeper to the client company.

Timekeeper Submission Status

The submission status for a timekeeper are as follows:

Corridor Status

Description

Awaiting Submission

The timekeeper submission process was not completed by the law firm/vendor. Timekeepers in this status can be deleted or edited at any time because they are not synchronized with the client company.

Waiting for Import

The timekeeper is awaiting retrieval by the client's matter management application or has been retrieved but not processed. Timekeepers cannot be deleted in this status, but can be modified and the modifications will replace the current timekeeper information to be sent to the client company.

In Process

The timekeeper has been uploaded to the client company, but has not been accepted or rejected. Timekeepers in this status cannot be deleted nor modified since the client company has received the information and must accept or reject the timekeeper before additional modifications are possible.

Accepted

The timekeeper has been approved by the client company and has been added to the client matter management application for invoicing. Information concerning that timekeeper (such as rate, etc.) can be modified and resubmitted to the client company. Once a timekeeper is accepted by a client company, the timekeeper cannot be deleted nor can the timekeeper identifier be changed since it is now synchronized with the client company.

Rejected

The timekeeper has not been approved by the client company and has not been approved for invoicing. Timekeepers that are rejected by the client company can be deleted or modified for resubmission to the client company.

Search Filters

The following table describes all available filters:

Filter Description
Timekeeper ID Search by timekeeper ID.
Client ID The dropdown lists all available client IDs for the user.
First Name Search timekeepers by first name.
Last Name Search timekeepers by last name.
Status Search all active or inactive timekeepers.
Submission Status

The submission status refers to whether the timekeeper has been submitted to the client. Available status are:

  • Awaiting Submission
  • Waiting for Import
  • In Process
  • Accepted
  • Rejected
Job Classification The job list depends on the Client ID selected.

 

Search Timekeepers

To search timekeepers:

1. Select a Client ID from the dropdown list.

2. Enter one or more search filters and click Search.

3. Click Clear to start another search.

 

Edit Timekeepers

Delete a Timekeeper

Note: Only timekeepers with submission status of Awaiting Submission or Rejected can be deleted.

To delete timekeepers, select the checkbox next to the timekeeper and click Delete Selected. You can also delete all timekeepers with submission status Awaiting Submission and Rejected by selecting the checkbox next to the Timekeeper Id column.

 

Submit a Timekeeper for Approval

Submit a timekeeper for approval queues the timekeeper for import into the client company's matter management system.

Note: Timekeepers with submission status In Process cannot be resubmitted to the client company until the client company has accepted or rejected the timekeeper.
