Export and Import Event Workflow

Export Event Workflow

Summary 

This article teaches you how to export Event Workflows at once saving time and providing a template that can be used. 

Prerequisites

  • Excel sheet with data
  • Admin access

Steps to Export Event Workflows

  1. Navigate to Admin > Event Workflow as displayed below.

2. Based on the available filters i.e. Company, Org Unit, and Search, the user can export desired Event Workflow.

  • Select a company from the company dropdown
  • Select Org Unit from the Org Unit drop down
  • Enter the keyword in the search box

 Click the Export button to export desired event workflow.

3. The application displays a message screen for the user as follows. Click OK.

4. Excel documents with the event workflow information will be exported to the user’s local device.

5. Click the Export button with the default filter to export event workflows.

Note: User can now import/export notification associations during import/export of event workflow.

 

Import Event Workflow

Steps to Import Event Workflow

  1. Navigate to Admin > Event Workflow > Import.

2. Select the 'Choose File' button, locate your Excel data sheet and open it.

  • Select “Stop import on any error” according to the user's requirement.

3. Select the excel sheet that your data resides on from the local device. This will allow you to map the columns from the sheet to the fields within CMO as seen below.

The following fields help in importing an event workflow.

Fields

Description

Sheet

This defines the number of sheets that are being selected from the imported Excel.

Saved Import Settings

This is a dropdown option where a user can find already saved settings mapped columns from the sheet to the fields within CMO.

Load Settings

This button helps to apply the selected predefined import settings.

Save Settings

Select this button to save the mapped column settings to the fields within CMO. The saved import settings will be displayed in the Saved Import Settings dropdown.

 

4. Once you have completed your mappings, select the 'Import' button. Select 'Close' to close the window
