Business Rule Settings - Frequency Rates

This reference article documents all Frequency Rate settings for CMO Business Rules. Frequency Rate Settings are used to configure options for the Frequency Rate module.

Each of these settings can be found by following this path in CMO:

  1. Log in as an Admin.
  2. From the home screen, click Admin.
  3. Click Business Rules from the side bar menu. 
  4. Click your company name.
  5. Navigate to the Frequency Rates section of settings.

The table below describes setting options for the Frequency Rates section on the Business Rules page.

 

Setting Functionality
Enable Target Category Groups

When checked, this enables Target Category Groups. Targets allow users to track targets against the number of events created for a specific category.

Note: If disabled, this feature may impact some widgets and frequency rate calculations.

Enable Hours Worker Classification

When checked, this enables Hours Worker Classification. Generally, this is used to distinguish between employee and contractor hours.

Note: If disabled, this feature may impact some widgets and frequency rate calculations.

Enable Target Worker Classification When checked, this enables Target Worker Classification. Generally, this is used to classify whether an Event involves an employee or a contractor. It helps track employee to contractor rates separately.
Hours Decimal Places When checked, this allows Hours to be tracked by a desired parameter. For example, a user's hours can be tracked using seconds if that is the desired parameter.
Target Decimal Places When checked, this allows Target hours to be tracked by a desired parameter. For example, a target hours can be tracked using seconds if that is the desired parameter.
