Action Role Permissions

The table below defines the Action Role Permissions. Role Permissions can be found by navigating to the Admin module, then selecting Role Permissions from the left sidebar menu.

Action Module Enabled When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to access Actions on the Site (will be able to create and view them from within a Dashboard view but not access the Action Module itself).
Action Tab Enabled

When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to access the Action Module page.

Access Inferior Actions When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to access Inferior Users’ Actions. (Please note this only affects Users who are selected as another User’s Superior User).
Action Management Process Enabled When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to access the Action Management Process, which controls how Actions can be worked on within the system.
Action Dashboard Enabled When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to access the Action Dashboard Tab within the Action Module. This allows Users to have an overview of all Actions created against their assigned Org-units and Entities.
Action Performance Dashboard Enabled When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to access the default ‘Action Performance’ Dashboard within the Dashboards Module (if the User has access to the Dashboards Module).
Action Library Enabled When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to access the ‘Action Library’ Tab within the Action Module. Here, Users can create Templates for common Actions, which can then be selected when creating an Action.
Allow View When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to view the Action, seeing what information has been added along with any comments, but cannot add a comment or make any changes.
Allow Create When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to create Actions based on their Org Unit and Entity assignments.
Allow Edit When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to Edit Actions that they have assignments to.
Allow Delete When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to Delete Actions from the system.
Allow Delete Completed or Verified When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to Delete Actions with the Status ‘Completed’ or ‘Verified’.
Allow Clone When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to make a copy of an Action (copying its initial creation information).
Allow Add Follow-on Action When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to add a Follow-On Action to an existing Action.
Allow Add Verifier When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to add a Verifier to an Action.
Allow Record Audio When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to Record Audio to be saved against an Action. (This is most commonly used on the iOS App). See the 
Allow Add Comment When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to add comments to an Action.
Allow Accept/Reject Request Transition When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to use the ‘Accept or Reject’ request feature, meaning users can request for their Superior User to confirm if they can mark an Action as complete.
Allow Manage Confidential Attachments When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to View, Edit and Delete attachments marked as Confidential within the system.
Allow Send Action by Email When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to send Action information to the responsible user’s email address (if included in their user details). The Action can be updated or marked as complete via email depending on other permissions.
Allow Complete by Email When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to complete Actions via an email sent to their user’s email address containing the Action information.
Allow View User Group Assignments When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to view the group assignments against an Action.
Allow Manage User Group Assignments When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to Add, Edit and Delete assignments against an Action within the system.
Allow Mange Default Assignments When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to Edit the ‘Default Action Assignments’ for their user via the ‘Admin’ > ‘User Groups’ > ‘Default User Groups’ Tab.
Allow multiple Action Creation  When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to create multiple Actions at once, such as creating 3 similar Actions but for different Org Units and Entities.
Allow Associate Action with GIS When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to add a location to an Action.
Allow Manage Action Categories When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to Create, Edit or Delete Action Categories, along with controlling which Roles have access to the Categories.
Allow to print Actions Irrespective of Reporting Module When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to print Action information even if the user does not have access to the Reports Module.
Allow Excel Import When selected, the Users assigned to a Role with this permission enabled will be able to Import Actions via Excel Spreadsheets.
