Viewabill Guide to Integration with eCounsel

With Suite version 8.11 or later, eCounsel users who have configured a Viewabill integration can access a pared-down version of the Viewabill Dashboard in eCounsel
on the home page or on the Matters tab using a Web Page Container widget.

In order for data to appear in the Viewabill tab in the eCounsel widget, the following must occur:

After the integration is configured, clients can view the following data for matters that are mapped and shared with them:

  • On the eCounsel home page:
    • An Activity Chart dynamically illustrates the daily breakdown of Dollars, Hours, and Time Entries. Use the sliders at the top of the chart to adjust the timeline range.
    • A Phase/Task Codes chart illustrates the LEDES codes associated with the Entries and the percent of activity that each represents within the date range defined by the current scope. You can view the graph by Entries, dollars, or hours by clicking the appropriate label to the left-of the table.
    • A Matters list describes matters that have active entries within the defined scope.
  • On the eCounsel Matters tab:
    • Widgets display Dollars, Hours, Time Entry, and Average Delay.
    • An Activity Chart dynamically illustrates the daily breakdown of Dollars, Hours, and Time Entries. Use the sliders at the top of the chart to adjust the timeline range.
    • A Phase/Task Codes chart illustrates the LEDES codes associated with the Entries and the percent of activity that each represents within the date range defined by the current scope. You can view the graph by Entries, dollars, or hours by clicking the appropriate label to the left-of the table.
    • The Timekeepers list describes all timekeepers who have reported work done within the defined scope.
    • The Entries list describes each time entry for the defined scope. A Conversation icon appears for any entry for which you have messages. This icon only designates that you have messages; it does not designate whether or not those messages have been read. To open messages, click the icon and log into Viewabill when prompted.
