Matters Page

The Matters page contains a list of all of the matters in your Viewabill account.

To open the Matters page, click the Navigation Toggle and select Matters from the navigation pane.

You can quickly filter your matters by clicking the following tabs:

  • All Matters shows all matters, regardless of activity.
  • Active Matters shows matters being shared with a client.
  • Inactive Matters shows matters that are not being shared with any clients.

To view more information about a matter, click the matter name to open the Matter Detail page for the individual matter.

To change the Client Matter Number, click the number, make the change, and click Save. (Available for administrators only.)

To view messages that involve the matter, click the Conversation icon in the Messages column. A red circle with a number displays on the icon if you have any unread messages for that matter.

To search for a matter in the list, click the search field and type your search criteria.

To sort the list by field, click the column heading for that field. Clicking the same column heading again changes the sort order either from ascending to descending, or vice versa.
