Adding a Matter

By adding and sharing matters with your clients, you can be transparent with your clients while still maintaining some detailed control over what type of information
is shared.

Note: Only administrators can perform this task.

To add matters to Viewabill:

  1. Open the Matters page.
  2. Click the Add Matter icon to the left of the search field or click the Add Matter button at the bottom of the matter table.
  3. Enter the matter IDs. Use a separate line for each matter ID.
  4. Click Next: Choose Billing Partner.
  5. Select a billing partner. To create a new billing partner, click Add a Billing Partner and fill out the requested information for the partner.
  6. Click Finish.

After this matter has successfully synced to your dashboard, you are able to share this matter with a client user.
