Release Summary

Smarter Document Handling. Smoother Workflows. A Sharper Experience.

The latest release of the TeamConnect Outlook Add-in focuses on making everyday work faster, clearer, and more intuitive. With highly requested enhancements such as in-app document preview, improved bulk document actions, and a refined, modernized UI, this release significantly improves how users interact with documents and emails - without leaving Outlook.

These enhancements build on existing capabilities and elevate them with better visuals, clearer actions, and more user-friendly interactions. The result is a more streamlined experience that helps users stay focused, reduce context switching, and complete tasks with greater efficiency.

Enhanced Document Experience in Outlook

Document-related workflows have been significantly refined to support faster review and easier bulk actions directly within the Add-in. Users can now:

These improvements are designed to simplify high-volume document handling and help users stay productive within their inbox.

Improved Multiselection Across Web and Mobile

Multiselection capabilities have been enhanced to feel more natural and easier to use across platforms. On both web and mobile, users can now manage multiple attachments together using clipboard actions such as Copy All, Cut All, and Paste All, enabling faster file management on the go. When Multi-Selection mode is enabled, multiple documents can be selected for bulk clipboard actions, and single-document operations like Check In and Check Out documents are automatically disabled to prevent conflicts and ensure clarity. UI Enhancements – A More Intuitive, Polished Look

This release introduces a set of visual and interaction improvements designed to make the interface more intuitive, consistent, and user‑friendly. These enhancements improve clarity and navigation while preserving the workflows users are already familiar with.

Key updates include:

  • Refined overflow (three-dot) menus for clearer access to secondary actions.
  • Improved floating action button with enhanced layout and visibility.
  • Updated Email Upload section featuring a more structured, readable layout.
  • More accurate file selection with improved checkbox alignment and interaction behavior.
  • Updated file type selection dropdown with refreshed styling for better readability.
  • Improved search and breadcrumb visibility for easier navigation and context tracking.
  • Refreshed user icon appearance for a cleaner, modernized visual identity.
  • Enhanced document and folder lists, including:
    • File‑type icons (DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, TXT, and more)
    • Contextual menus for quick actions
    • Improved selection tools
  • Updated date filter icon used in search for improved visual consistency.
  • Improved layout of full‑width buttons, such as Quick Navigation and Create Matter.
  • Refined application header with improved navigation tabs, spacing, and responsive behavior.
  • Multiselection Toggle for easier switching between single and multi-select modes.

 

These enhancements make the Add-in easier to navigate and more visually accessible, helping users complete tasks with fewer clicks and greater confidence.

Administrative Enhancements

Administrators now have access to a bi-directional synchronization health check, allowing them to validate end-to-end sync between TeamConnect and the Microsoft Office Suite. This includes verification of Microsoft Graph connectivity, required permissions, and subscription validity, with the ability to manually trigger sync to proactively identify and resolve issues. For detailed information, see Office Suite Sync Health Check ↗.
