Enhancement: Non-Custodial Data Source (NCDS) Notices in Hold Workflow
Description: Introduced support for Non-Custodial Data Source (NCDS) to streamline notice administration, recipient interactions, and system owner tracking in the hold workflow.
Users can enable the Add Non-Custodial Notice toggle when creating or editing a hold notice to initiate a non-custodial preservation workflow. When enabled, the interface updates with contextual breadcrumbs and conditional tabs across the Preservation Notice(s) and Data Stewards pages, providing a guided experience for managing non-custodial data sources.
This capability allows organizations to issue, track, and manage preservation notices for data sources that are not tied to individual custodians, such as shared drives, application databases, or other enterprise systems. The feature also supports notice attachments, revision tracking, and history, offering the same level of auditability and control as custodian-based preservation notices.

The Non-Custodial Notice workflow now provides feature parity with Preservation Notices, including the ability to:

• Upload attachments to notices.
• Send test emails before issuing notices.
• Preview notice emails.
• Export notices as PDF documents.

Enhancement: Report on Non-Custodial Datasource Notices in the Custom Report Designer
Description: The Custom Report Designer now includes dedicated reportable objects for Non-Custodial Datasource (NCDS) notices and system owners:

• Notice-Level Data: Adds the Non-Custodial Notice object to the Select the Data dropdown. Users can report on notice fields including From Email, Reply To Email, Notice Name, Subject, First Sent, Status, and Non-Custodial Notice GUID, joined back to parent hold details.
• System Owner Recipient Data: Adds the NCDS system owner recipient object, enabling reports on recipient details including Person First Name, Person Last Name, Person Employee ID, Person Email, Recipient GUID, Created On, Modified On, System Owner Status, Last Sent Notice, Added Individually, Response, Response Date, and effective Release Date.

Enhancement: Consistent Hold Management for Non-Custodial Datasources
Description: Managing holds for Non-Custodial Datasources (NCDS) now follows the same workflow as Preservation Notices, providing a more consistent and streamlined hold management experience.

 With this enhancement, you can:

• Release an entire notice in a single action.
• Switch the Active Holds overview to a sortable list view.
• View NCDS-related events in the Hold History timeline.
• Access released system owners from a dedicated tab and restore them directly, if needed.
• People who manage multiple systems now appear as a single recipient, and the {System} placeholder now displays the correct system name in all email notices.

Enhancement: Automatic Courtesy Copy (CC) for Primary and Secondary Internal Contact(s)
Description: A new global toggle, Enable Courtesy Copy on hold notice for Internal Contact(s), is now available under Hold and Reminder Customizations. When enabled, the courtesy copy (CC) toggle is automatically set to On for all primary and secondary internal contacts added to the hold.

Enhancement: Configurable Field Visibility for Hold Summary Page.
Description: System Administrators can now choose which fields appear on the Hold Summary page. This helps organizations keep the page focused on the information their teams use and reduce confusion caused by the fields that are not part of their process, such as Priority.

Go to System Settings > Manage Custom Fields, where you can access the following tabs:

• Custom Field: Manage custom fields as before.
• Hold Summary Fields: View all Hold Summary fields, including the field label, category (Matter Details or Hold Details), and mandatory status. Use the Show/Hide toggle to control the visibility of non-mandatory fields, such as Priority or In-Place Hold Date Range.

Mandatory fields remain locked and cannot be hidden.

Enhancement: Active Holds Tile View – Relabel Non-Compliant Metrics and Track Pre-Existing Inactive Recipients
Description: To provide full visibility into all inactive recipients assigned to an active Hold, the system's Hold Tile view has been updated with the following changes:

• Relabeled Existing Metric: Renamed "Inactive Recipients without Responses" to "Inactive Recipients without Responses (non-compliant)". This metric continues to track recipients who were Active when added to the Hold but became Inactive before submitting a response.
• Added New Metric Bucket: Introduced a new field titled "Inactive Recipients-no response expected". This field tracks recipients whose account status was already Inactive at the time they were added to the Hold.

Enhancement: Automatically Disable Courtesy Copies for Unassigned Legal Staff
Description: Legal Hold now automatically sets the Receive Courtesy Copy flag to False when a Legal Staff record is updated with an end date (indicating unassignment from a matter or hold). This prevents unassigned staff members from receiving subsequent hold notices, reminders, or updates. 
The toggle remains disabled in the user interface and cannot be turned back on unless the end date is removed and the staff member is reassigned. 
This behavior applies regardless of whether the end date is added manually in the user interface or automatically via integrations (such as TeamConnect). All status changes are logged in the system audit history.

Bug Fixes

Issue: Inconsistent field names in the validation message
Description: Fixed an issue where validation error messages in the People module displayed outdated or inconsistent field names (e.g., "Login Id", "Phone number", and "OneDrive Url"). These validation messages have been updated to correctly reflect current UI field labels ("Network ID", "Phone", and "OneDrive URL").

Issue: M365 - The Enable Network ID option turns off after clicking Test Connection.
Description: Fixed an issue in M365 integration where clicking Test Connection followed by toggling Enable Network ID and saving caused an optimistic locking error and displayed a blank page. The save action now properly detects the updated status of the Enable Network ID toggle.

Issue: M365 Purview integration splitting requests and creating separate hold policies for individual data sources, risking hitting Microsoft's tenant-wide hold policy limit (10,000). 
Description: Fixed an issue in the Microsoft 365 Purview integration where data sources (Mailboxes, OneDrive, and Teams sites) were not being grouped efficiently when applying a Legal Hold to multiple custodians. The grouping logic has been updated to consolidate data sources into fewer hold policies, preventing organizations from approaching Microsoft's tenant limits.

Issue: Bulleted lists in Hold Notices display extra bullet markers in Classic Outlook desktop
Description: Fixed an issue where bulleted or indented lists in emailed Hold Notices displayed extra bullet markers when viewed in Classic Outlook for Windows. Bulleted lists now display consistently across all supported email clients to match the in-app editor view.

Issue: Grid elements on the Manage People page render before the records fully finish loading.
Description: Fixed an issue where certain list elements on the Manage People page appeared before the data records had completely loaded. The loading spinner now displays consistently until all records finish loading.

Issue: Recipients By Hold Report Pagination Display
Description: Resolved a visual inconsistency in the Recipients By Hold Report where using the Clear Selection action after changing the pagination size could cause a discrepancy between the number of records displayed in the table and the pagination control. The table now correctly resets to display the default 10 entries per page when generated after clearing selections.

Issue: Initiating data sources with over 100–200 Teams sites causes the app to stop responding, resulting in session or SSO timeouts.
Description: Resolved an issue where initiating M365 Purview data sources with a large number of Microsoft Teams sites (over 100 locations) caused an infinite loading state. The background processing for site initiation has been optimized to execute asynchronously without locking the user interface or timing out active user sessions.

Issue: Release Hold: "Add Hold Release Email" toggle off redirects to wrong page and fails to release custodians.
Description: Resolved an issue where turning off the "Add Hold Release Email" toggle during the hold release process incorrectly redirected users to the Release Notice page instead of the Released Holds page, resulting in custodians remaining in an Active status instead of being properly released. All custodians and data stewards are now updated to the correct RELEASED status, and release notices are sent strictly according to the toggle settings.

Issue: LegalHold custodian responses were not synchronized to TeamConnect.
Description: Resolved an issue where custodian questionnaire responses recorded in LegalHold were not reflected in TeamConnect because the integration event was not processed, causing the response status to remain unchanged.
