This release notes details the information related to Enhancements, Improvements, and Resolved Issues in LegalHold 3.7.0 release.And This release introduces a range of exciting and highly requested features aimed at enhancing the LegalHold workflow for our clients:

• Improvements are made in the Legal Hold instance for better usability: Several improvements are made to improve the instance's reliability and efficiency. The Recipient's step has been improved by adding the status of a person appearing alongside the people list. The restrictions for the Legal Staff role have been modified.
  Also, added the email field to the Data Steward object in Custom Report Designer. Major changes are made to the Single and Multi-select Questionnaire allowing the user to add values up to 20 along with other changes in the questionnaire.
   
• New fields and toggles are introduced at various places to improve usability: A variety of new fields and toggles are introduced throughout the instance to improve usability. We have updated the people import process by adding a field ‘Network ID’ and an ‘Email’ field to the Data Steward object in Custom Report Designer. 
  New lock toggles are set allowing system Admins to lock the questionnaires, M365 Integration, and Preservation notice on a hold. The new toggle on the Hold Notice(s) step named “Mark as silent hold” toggle sets the recipients added through Groups, People, and CSV as silent custodians by default.
   
• Several UX Improvements: In addition to the above features, this release also includes several modifications to improve the user satisfaction and usability of the product.

Enhancements/Improvements 

Enhancement: SSO metadata parsing improved
Description: LH errors out if there are any other elements in the IdP metadata file besides EntityDesccriptor and IdpSSODescriptor, so no matter what other elements are present in the file, those two are selected. For more information, refer to this article.

Description: We have updated the people import process by adding a new field network ID.

Enhancement: Modified questionnaire access to read conversations and add comments 
Description: Hold Admins, Super Hold Admins, and System Admins can now seamlessly capture/access communication about custodians regarding questionnaires and holds within the application and add comments. For more information, refer to this  article.

Enhancement: The Hold Notice page has been updated with a new toggle
Description: A new toggle on the Hold Notice(s) step named “Mark as silent hold” has been added, when the Enable Silent Custodians toggle is enabled on the Hold and Reminder Customizations page. This toggle adds the recipients as silent custodians by default. All recipients added through Groups, People, and CSV icons will have the silent custodians column "Yes" by default. However, the hold sender can change it even if the toggle is on, and recipients can be set as active custodians by disabling the custodians toggle. For more information, refer to this article.

Enhancement: Improvements in the Single and Multi-select Questionnaire 
Description: The questionnaire now allows the user to add values up to 20. A custodian should be able to choose from all 20 multi-select options when answering a question. If a multi-select questionnaire is selected, the user should be able to have a value of 1. The custodian has only one option to check their response when they receive this type of question. For non-mandatory questions, they should be able to uncheck that option if necessary. In the multi-select question responses, a custodian can add a note about the other option when Other is selected. Enhancement: Improvements in the Recipient's step 
Description: The status of a person appears alongside the people list to add a custodian in the Recipient's step, to avoid adding terminated people as custodians. For more information, refer to this article.

Enhancement:  Introduced lock toggles for Questionnaires, M365 Integration, Preservation notice
Description: With the newly introduced lock toggles, system Admins can lock the questionnaires, M365 Integration, and Preservation notice on a hold. A hold admin would not be able to disable it and also holds cannot be sent out without questionnaires, M365 integration, and preservation notices.

Description: Restrictions are made to the Legal Staff role, by changing it to read-only access. For more information, refer to this article.

Bug Fixes 

Issue: Fixed the problem with HR Feed Schedule Tasks not validating start dates.
Description:  Clients need to reschedule the scheduled time, as it is reset every year by ‘All Tasks’. Thus, the next runs do not display the correct date and time if they start before today. This issue has been fixed by validating the start dates.

Issue: Fixed the mismatch of TeamConnect summary page with the custodians' table.
Description:  The implementation of inactive and active custodians in legal holds affects the counts on the TeamConnect summary page, which does not match the custodians' table.

Issue: We have fixed the issue in the "Questionnaire Analysis Report", for multi-select questions; it was displaying multiple responses per question in the same hold in the CSV file.
