Lawtrac 4.X Matter Number prefix not available when adding a new matter

When a new matter type is added then it must be added to the security group restrictions area by taking the following steps in order for it to be available when creating a new matter.

  • Top-menu, My Lawtrac | Application Administration
  • Matter Maintenance tab
  • To the right click on Matter Numbers
  • Click on the Edit Pencil icon next to the prefix number
  • Click on Restrict Use by Matter Type

  • Click the radio buttons next to each type to turn them green
