Error Message: Adjustment Amounts Need to be Negative

What does it mean when the firms receive the following error message upon uploading the LEDES file?

The 'Line_Item_Adjustment_Amount' field is generally used when a firm provides a discount to their customer. This error message occurs when the 'Line_Item_Adjustment_Amount' field displays a positive amount. Lawtrac only accepts negative numerical values in this field. In this case, the firm will need to input a negative sign in front of the amount displayed in that field.
