MR2 Reject to MR1 Review Workflow

MR2 Reject to MR1 Review Workflow

This new functionality allows Management Reviewer 1 (MR1) and Management Reviewer 2 (MR2) to reject a form on the third review workflow option. The current function of this type of workflow is MR2 can only reject back to the initiator.

This functionality now allows:

  1. MR1 to reject back to Initiator in “Open” status.
  2. MR2 to reject back to MR1 in “In Review status”.

The status of the form varies in different stages based on the initiator, MR1 and MR2 which are as follows:

Initiator (Draft) -> MR1 (Open) -> MR2 (In Review)

Steps to Reject Workflow

Note: This workflow works when the following settings are enabled in the workflow wizard.

  1. Login into the application and raise a form as an Initiator.
  2. After raising a form, click on the ‘Investigation required by field’ and select the MR1 option in the search bar as shown in the following image and ensure to submit the form to MR 1.

3. The MR1 logs in to the application using his/her credentials. Click on the ‘Investigation required by’ field and select the MR2 option in the search bar as shown in the following image. Click on the button ‘LineMgr submission of investigation’ to further assign it to the MR2.

Here MR2 = HRI_Mgt

4. The MR2 logs in to the application using his/her credentials. Open and edit the assigned record and click on the Reject button.

5. Once rejected, the MR1 logs in to the application and should be able to edit the record and submit it back to MR2.
