Product Updates - September 2022

1. Questionnaire Updates

a. Updates to I-129, I-129 CW, I-983 and I-129 Attachment Zoom Defined Questionnaires (to be released on Sep 9, 2022)

Applicable Editions: All Editions

Applicable Country Subscription: United States

Effective Date: September 9, 2022

Following out-of-the-box (OOTB) Zoom-defined questionnaires will be updated on Sep 9, 2022, to capture Employment Authorization Document (EAD) information using the 'USCIS Documents Dates Info' questionnaire sub-section.

Zoom Defined Questionnaire Sub-section used in the OOTB questionnaire prior to the change Sub-section used in the OOTB questionnaire after the change on Sep 9, 2022
I-129 Miscellaneous Info Part V USCIS Documents Dates Info
I-129 CW Miscellaneous Info Part V USCIS Documents Dates Info
I-983 Miscellaneous Info Part V USCIS Documents Dates Info
I-129-ATTACHMENT Miscellaneous Info Part III USCIS Documents Dates Info

Currently, these Zoom-defined questionnaires are using 'Miscellaneous Info Part V' and 'Miscellaneous Info Part III' subsections to capture EAD information. With this update, these questionnaires are modified to use the 'USCIS Documents Dates Info' sub-section which would also sync the EAD information captured through these questionnaires with FN > US Immigration Info > EAD section. EAD information captured using these updated questionnaires will also pre-fill the immigration forms related to the questionnaires mentioned above.

Action Required on or before Sep 9, 2022:

If you are using Firm defined questionnaires configured to capture EAD information using 'Miscellaneous Info Part V' or 'Miscellaneous Info Part III' sub-sections, we strongly encourage you to update the questionnaire configuration on or before Sep 9, 2022, to use the 'USCIS Documents Dates Info' sub-section fields to capture EAD info. With this release, 'Miscellaneous Info Part V' or 'Miscellaneous Info Part III' sub-sections will be deprecated and if you continue to use these sections to capture EAD information, data will no longer map to the immigration forms related to the questionnaires mentioned above.
