End of support for Internet Explorer 11

Starting June 2022 release, INSZoom no longer supports Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) following the Microsoft's depreciation guidelines. Microsoft officially announced the end of support for IE11 in May 2021. Microsoft acknowledges that IE11 lacks the security, scalability, and compatibility that’s needed to justify continued support when compared to modern internet browsers.
What does it mean for your firm and customers?
In response to Microsoft’s decision, Mitratech ends supporting IE11 for the INSZoom application starting this release. If you, your organization or your customers use Internet Explorer today, we strongly encourage switching to one of the many browsers we support today, including the current versions of:
· Chrome
· Microsoft Edge
· Safari
INSZoom may still function with other browsers, including Internet Explorer Mode in Microsoft Edge; however, these browsers are not officially supported by INSZoom. Customers using IE11 or IE Mode in Microsoft Edge will not be blocked from accessing INSZoom, but features aren’t guaranteed to work correctly.
Why did we implement this change?
Updating INSZoom browser support allows for increased performance, security and a better user experience. By shifting focus away from IE11, Mitratech can develop and test new features more quickly.

Updates to Letter Management

With this release, the workflow for letters that are pre-configured in the Knowledge Base Petition templates is enhanced .
Currently, when a case is created, pre-configured letters are copied from Knowledge Base petition templates (if applicable). When a case manager accesses the case letter for the first time, the letter gets prepared, replacing the keywords in the letter template using the version as on case open date. Any subsequent changes to the source letter template at the Knowledge Base will not transfer to the case letters unless the 'Refresh' feature is explicitly used.
Further to this release, if the source letter template is modified after the case is created, Case Managers working on case letters will be notified upon accessing the letter for the first time. Case Manager will be provided with an option to either use the latest version from the Knowledge Base or to skip and continue with the letter version as of case open date. This doesn't apply to the case letters that are added to the case after case creation.
Case Manager will be notified regarding the change in source letter template if all criteria below are met
- Case Letter was pre-configured in the Knowledge Base Petition template and was copied to the case upon case creation.
- Case Letter is being accessed for the first time.
- Source letter template was modified after case was created.
Reports 3.0 Updates

With this release, following reports will consistently include the most recent FN and/or Case Notes as applicable. Recent FN and/or case notes column in the reports will be available to Corp users only if access is enabled for the specific notes (FN/Case notes > Client access). This access control applies to reports accessed from Corp/HR dashboard as well as the reports shared to the Corp users using 'Save/Share' feature.
