1. e-Filing Desktop Add-on Replaces the e-File Chrome Extension

INSZoom introduced the e-Filing Desktop Add-on in 2020 to provide improved e-filing functionality and experience to our users. By design, the e-Filing Desktop Add-on is an operating system and browser agnostic, providing a seamless e-filing experience across operating systems including Windows and Mac OS.
The e-Filing Desktop Add-on was quickly adopted by most firms and we continue to improve the e-filing experience based on feedback we’ve received from customers. Learn more by reviewing the [e-Filing Desktop Add-on success article].
Beginning January 06, 2023, the e-Filing Desktop Add-on replaced the e-File Chrome Extension for all firms and all currently supported e-file forms. If you or your firm e-file forms such as ETA-9035, ETA-9141, ETA-9089, and H-1B electronic registrations in INSZoom, you may already be using the e-Filing Desktop Add-on, and no specific action is required.
Effective January 06, 2023, the e-File Chrome Extension was sunset and all firms will default to the e-Filing Desktop Add-on for all forms/applications with e-file support in INSZoom.
Action required on or after January 06, 2023:
If you do not have the e-Filing Desktop Add-on installed and are e-filing with the Desktop Add-on for the first time, navigate to Case Forms > e-File and click on the 'download and start INSZoom Add-on' link in the e-filing prompt as shown below. Once the installer has downloaded to your desktop, start the installation by running the installer from your local downloads folder. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the e-Filing Desktop Add-on.
2. Updates to the To-do notification emails

Currently, To-do notification emails are sent to the FN/ HR from alerts@inszoom.net, including the name of the Case manager who assigned/ initiated the To-do in the ‘From’ field. If the recipients (FN/ HR) respond to such To-do notifications assuming they are replying to the Case manager who assigned the To-do, the responses end up reaching an unattended mailbox and not the Case manager.
As part of the January 2023 release, all the To-do notification emails are updated with the following changes;
- The name of the Case manager assigned as the To-do reviewer will be displayed in the ‘From’ field.
- All replies to the To-do notification emails will be redirected by default to the email address of the Case manager assigned as the To-do reviewer.
- All To-do notification emails will be sent from notifications@inszoom.net to be consistent with other notifications sent to FN/ HR from INSZoom.
3. Global Framework Updates
a. Global Framework is Updated with Germany Forms

b. Generic Employment-Based Petition templates for 20 global countries added to the INSZoom Global Framework

INSZoom Global Framework library is enhanced with the addition of Generic Employment-Based Petition templates for 20 global countries. These newly added out-of-the-box global petition packages include;
