This article gives an overview of the new product features and enhancements releasing in April 2020. (Releasing on April 24-25)

1. US Immigration Status History

Applicable Editions: Enterprise, Professional

Track the status and document history for US Immigration documents such as I-797s (approvals), EADs, EAD and AP Combo Cards.

  • Case Manager can now add historical records for following documents in Client/Foreign National (FN) Profile > Immigration Status History. 
  • Client/Foreign National (FN) Profile > US Immigration Info, maintains the most current document. For each document there is an option to add history.

US Immigration Status history provides a central location for all US government issued documents that aids case managers and attorneys to stay on top of their case as well as plan effective case strategies for future immigration applications.

2. Email Authentication using One-Time-Password (OTP) Solution

Applicable Editions: Enterprise, Professional
(It will be made Live for All Users of Enterprise Edition and Professional Edition by end of May 2020)

An added layer of security to e-mail links for Foreign Nationals and Corp Users using one-time-password OTP feature.

  • One-time-password feature ensures that the sender and recipient are the only ones who can access the link (data) using a one-time-password (OTP) sent via email or text/SMS message.
  • One-time-password delivery by email is the default option and it's free for all users.

Subscription- 

"Text/SMS Communication" is a "Billable" feature. Firm administrators can subscribe here:

Setup > Subscriptions > Text/SMS Communication

A member of the INSZoom accounts team will reach out to the customer after subscription. The feature will be enabled for all staff/users of the firm.

3. H-1B Registration Module

Applicable Editions: Enterprise, Professional

Manage the H-1B Registration process - records and status management, communication, billing and reporting. Actual Registration must be performed on the myUSCIS (government) portal.

Features:

• Collect and validate data for H-1B registrations

• Bulk import H-1B beneficiary data into INSZoom from an existing excel spreadsheet?

• Be filing ready - Validate for completeness, duplicate records and other data validations prior to Registration

• E-File H-1B registrations from INSZoom (using existing E-File Chrome extension)

• Track and manage H-1B registrations using the new Corporation ‘H-1B Registration’ dashboard in INSZoom

4. Reports 3.0 – Corporation/HR Dashboard Enhancements

Applicable Editions: Enterprise

Feature-New widgets are added in Reports 3.0 > HR/Corporation Portal Reports.

  • New Cases Summary
  • Filed Cases Summary

Reports 3.0 provides a clear visual of an entire corporation’s work load, case status, activities & statistics including reports by case types. Corporation Filters have been added to provide users the option to see the statistics related to a specific corporation.

Benefits-

A firm can use this dashboard and reports for providing status to Corp Users in HR Portal and for business review meetings with corporation contacts.

5. e-filing Desktop Add-on

Applicable Editions: Enterprise, Professional, and Standard Edition (Beta release in end of April for specific US customers. Please reach out to us if you want to be included in the Beta release. Targeted Global release by end of May 2020.)

New e-filing tool to e-file online forms that will replace both Internet Explorer plugin and E-File Chrome Extension. It is not a standalone app and works only from INSZoom web application.

Form(s) from the list showing the E-FILE icon will allow case managers to seamlessly push data from INSZoom to government allowed applications through respective online portals.

Benefits-

  • e-filing tool will work on any platform – Windows or Mac
  • Compatible with any browser – Chrome, Internet Explorer, MS Edge, Safari, Firefox etc.

6. Enhancements to Zoom Quick-Search 

Applicable Editions: Enterprise, Professional, and Standard Edition

Case Managers and users may now search by case or client using a Foreign National’s A-number, DOB or Case Receipt Number directly from the Search bar.

7. Forms 4.0

Applicable Editions: Enterprise, Professional.

The new and improved Forms Interface will make it even easier to fill and populate data with accuracy.
Forms 4.0 improves the ability to jointly review forms concurrently between foreign nationals, HRs, paralegals and attorneys prior to filing.

8. Event Email Enhancements

Applicable Editions: Enterprise, Professional.

Enhancements to event emails and emails page at Foreign National level.

  1. Case Managers may now 'Attach documents for review' from Event Email pages. (Enterprise Edition Only)
  2. Case Managers can now select if they want to list inactive case e-mail at Foreign National profile. (For Enterprise and Professional Editions)

9. To-Do Module Enhancements

Applicable Editions: Enterprise, Professional.

To-Do view is simplified for better visibility of Instructions and assignments. 

Now you can-

  • Add and edit custom title
  • Attach instruction documents
  • Inherit e-consent and documents attached to selected email template

10. Knowledge Base Petition List Enhancements

Applicable Editions: Enterprise, Professional.

Knowledge Base Petition List was updated to have a separate tab for Inactive Petitions.

In Setup > Knowledge-Base > Firm Petition Templates, default status has been set to 'Active' to show only active petitions by default.

Features and Benefits-

  • Improvement on Firm Petition Templates User Interface (UI) has been performed to show “Active Firm Petitions” only as default view.
  • Separate tab 'Deleted Firm Petitions' has been added to show only deleted petitions.

11. Interface Updates

Applicable Editions: Enterprise, Professional.

User Invitation E-mail and Password Reset feature has been given a new look and feel.
