INSZoom Quick-Search

This article will guide you on how to use Quick Search tool.

Introduction

This search bar option will provide almost instant access to records. Built on an elastic framework, results will begin to be listed with potential matches highlighted as you type!

Potential match results will be separated, so whether you search by company name, an email address, phone number, file#, a receipt#, an alien#, or a Date of Birth, you will see potential matches instantly based on what you are typing, as you are typing! Once you've found what you're looking for, you can click on the result and be instantly directed there.

The Quick-Search bar makes finding records much faster!  Searchable items include -

For Foreign Nationals:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Telephone/Mobile Number
  • File Number
  • Corporation
  • Alien number
  • Date of Birth

Advanced Search

The Quick Search bar has been enhanced to include an “Advanced Search” option in the drop-down.

Clicking this will redirect you to an Advanced Search function where you can further refine your search parameters.  Here you can also search for Inactive records or those marked for deletion.

*Note – At least 2 characters are required to enable the search.

After searching for a record and results are displayed, you can also now click “More Results” to be redirected to the Advanced Search function to be able to further refine your search if results desired are not provided immediately.  Your previously entered search term will be maintained in the advanced search.
