Create ‘Active Account’ Custom Field

This example shows how to create the Active Account? Custom Field. It uses allowable values to ensure only Yes or No are valid values.

  1. In the tree view, select Custom Field Type, right-click and select New. The Custom Field Type Editor is displayed.
  2. Enter a Name for the Custom Field Active Account? in this example.
  3. Set the Field type. In this example, Text.
  4. To set the allowable values of this field, select the Validation tab then select Override default validation properties and select Use Allowable values. Enter Yes in the Value text box and click + to add it to the list. Enter No in the Value text box and click + to add it to the list.

  5. Click Save to save the Custom Field and close the Custom Field Type Editor.
