On Screen Presentation – Sample Document(s)

Learn about all the terms and their meanings that are used for On Screen Presentation.

Watermark

To configure a Watermark, click New.

Note: You must have a Sample Document open to enable this option.

The items shown in the Watermark pane are described in Table 74.

Term

Meaning

Name

Enter a Name for the Watermark which will make it easily identifiable.

Watermark Text

Enter the Watermark Text you want to be displayed.

Font

To change the font from the default, click … next to the Font option. Select the font, the font style and the size from the Font window. Click OK to save the font settings or Cancel to leave the font settings as they were.

Top

The placement on the page of the Watermark is controlled by changing the Top and Left values. Increase the Top value to increase the distance (in pixels) the Watermark is from the top of the page. Alternatively, using the mouse pointer, select the Watermark on the Sample Document and place it in the desired location on the page.

Left

The placement on the page of the Watermark is controlled by changing the Top and Left values. Increase the Left value to increase the distance (in pixels) from the left of the page.

Alternatively, using the mouse pointer, select the Watermark on the Sample Document and place it in the desired location on the page.

Rotation

The Rotation option enables you to select the angle at which the Watermark is displayed. A Rotation value of 0 means the Watermark is horizontal. A Rotation value of 90 means the Watermark is rotated 90 degrees clockwise from the horizontal. Use the up and down controls to select the Rotation value. Alternatively, using the mouse pointer, select the red dot on the Watermark to select the required angle.

Opacity

The Opacity control selects how dark to make the Watermark. A value of 0 means the Watermark is completely transparent. A value of 100 means the Watermark is completely solid.

Overlay

To configure an Overlay, click New.

Name

Enter a Name for the Overlay which will make it easily identifiable.

Browse

Click to open a new Overlay image A window is opened which enables you to browse to the required location and select the image you wish to open. Click the Open button in the window to load the selected image.

Top

The placement on the page of the Overlay image is controlled by changing the Top and Left values. Increase the Top value to increase the distance (in pixels) the Overlay is from the top of the page. Alternatively, using the mouse pointer, select the Overlay on the Sample Document and place it in the desired location on the page.

Left

The placement on the page of the Overlay image is controlled by changing the Top and Left values. Increase the Left value to increase the distance (in pixels) the Overlay is from the left of the page. Alternatively, using the mouse pointer, select the Overlay on the Sample Document and place it in the desired location on the page.

Override Default Size

The Override Default Size option enables you to change the Width and the Height of the Overlay image.

Enter a value for the Width (in pixels) in the W box. Enter a value for the Height (in pixels) in the H box.
