Link to Existing Document Route

Here's how to link Document Route audit fields in a Search Template which has a local Document Route configured.

Select this option to link Document Route audit fields in this Search Template to the Document Route audit fields in a Search Template which has a local Document Route configured. See “Fields Linked to Document Route Fields in a Different Search Template” for a configuration example showing how to use this option.

Note: When a Search Template is linked to Document Route and the Search Template also has links to a Data Definition which has either Document Boundaries or Transaction Groups configured, a warning is displayed on saving the Search Template. The warning explains that Data Definitions with Transaction Groups or Document Boundaries cannot be routed and will not be searchable.
