Search Fields
Save
Click on Save to save the changes made to the Search Template.
New Field
Click on New Field to create a new search field for the Search Template.
Delete Field
Click on Delete Field to delete the selected search field.
Reorder Fields
When the Search Template contains more than one field, click on Reorder Fields to change the order of the search fields in the current Search Template. The Reorder Fields buttons are described in Table 95.

Document Version and Search Configuration Options
None
The None button is used to remove the Document Version search field from the Search Template. When the Document Version search field has been deleted from the Search Template, it will no longer be possible for the user to search for document versions.
Latest Version Only
To enable a Searching Client user to use the current Search Template to search for the latest version of a document, click the Latest Version Only button.
When the Latest Version Only button is clicked, a new search field of type Document Version is added to the Search Template. When the Document Version search field is already present in the Search Template, then no more fields are added to the Search Template.
Note: Users who use this Search Template can override this setting. See “Document Version Search Option (Override)”.
All Versions
To enable a Searching Client user to use the current Search Template to search for all versions of a document, click the All Versions button.
When the All Versions button is clicked, a new search field of type Document Version is added to the Search Template. When the Document Version search field is already present in the Search Template, then no more fields are added to the Search Template.
Note: Users who use this Search Template can override this setting. See “Document Version Search Option (Override)” .
Latest Published Version Only
To enable a Searching Client user to use the current Search Template to search for only the latest Published version of a document, click the Latest Published Versions Only button.
When the Latest Published Versions Only button is clicked, a new search field of type Document Version is added to the Search Template. When the Document Version search field is already present in the Search Template, then no more fields are added to the Search Template.

Depot Search Selection
To enable a Searching Client user to choose which depots to search, when using the current Search Template, click the Depot Search Selection button. (When selected, the button is highlighted.)
When a Searching Client user has been given ‘View Storage’ permission in Management Studio, (See “Permissions”) all available (online and searchable) depots will be displayed in Searching Client's Search Output Configuration Panel. See “Show or Hide the Search Output Configuration Panel” for more information.
Linked Fields
Show All Fields
Click on Show All Fields to display all the Data Definition fields and the Audit fields in the Field Linking pane.
Show Standard Fields
Click on Show Standard Fields to display all the Data Definition fields in the Field Linking pane.
Show Audit Fields
Click on Show All Fields to display all the Audit fields in the Field Linking pane.
New Link
Select a search field (from those listed in the Search Fields pane), then select a field (from those listed in the Field Linking pane.) and click on New Link to create a new link between the selected search field and the selected Data Definition field or Audit field.
Delete Link
Select a search field from the Search Fields pane. Select a linked field (with a green linked icon) in the Field Linking pane. The Delete Link button is active only when a Linked field is selected. Click the Delete Link button to delete the link between the search field and the field listed in the Field Linking pane.
Note: Use the Show All Fields button to make sure you can see all the fields linked to the selected search field. See “Show All Fields” .
