Error: Timekeeper ID Error/Timekeeper ID is Invalid

This article contains information on how to fix common timekeeper errors. Examples include: TIMEKEEPER_ID "<value>" is invalid. Timekeeper must exist in Collaborati.  TKSUM.TK_ID "<value>" is invalid. Timekeeper must be assigned to the client in Collaborati.

To check your timekeeper authorizations, please follow these steps:

  1. Click “Clients” on the top menu bar
  2. Choose client.
  3. Click the third icon from the top on the left navigation menu (“Timekeepers”).
  4. Click "Select Office" to choose the correct Office from the dropdown menu.

You will then be able to see your timekeepers as “Authorized” or “Pending Client Authorization”.  If a timekeeper is “Pending Client Authorization” for an extended period of time, please contact your client.

Note: The TIMEKEEPER_ID in your LEDES file must match the Timekeeper ID stored in Collaborati and the Timekeeper must be "Authorized" by the client.

If the timekeeper is showing as “Unauthorized”, you may need to contact your client to find out why the timekeeper was Rejected and then resubmit the timekeeper for authorization.  (To resubmit the timekeeper, you need to unassign the timekeeper from the client, and then assign the timekeeper to the client.  More information here.  )
