The CMO application provides functionality to redirect users to arbitrary third-party websites. If this functionality is abused by malicious users of the application this could be used to assist in phishing and social engineering attacks.

To mitigate this issue, the CMO now warns the users with the appropriate message while leaving the application for third-party websites. When the users click on the hyperlinks in the documents or sources, the following warning message is displayed “You are about to leave this site and open a third-party website. Do you want to continue?”.
