Provide Access Only to Own Findings
The CMO Administrator can restrict findings access to the user based on findings recorded by other users. In CMO application based on Org Unit and entity combinations and the user group settings, a user can view findings created by other users.
With the help of new role permission “Only provide access to Own Findings” which is basically a restriction, the CMO administrator can restrict access to findings created by other users and only allow a user to view findings created by self.
Steps to Enable Only provide access to Own Findings Permission
- Login to CMO application.
- Navigate to Admin > Roles.
3. Pick a role for which the role permission has to be mapped and click on the role name link from the available list of roles.
4. From the Details screen, go to General Permissions. Check the box to enable Only provide access to Own Findings.
View Findings Available to the User
- Login as the user into the CMO application
- Go to Risks > Findings Register
- All the Findings available will be displayed to the user in the Finding Register based on the role permission mapped to the user.
4. When the Only provide access to Own Findings permission is enabled, the user can view only those findings which are recorded by self.
