Bridgeway Suite 8.10.0
Service Pack 4 Release
Summary
- Version(s) patched:
8.10.0
- Date Released:
04/28/2017
- Issues:
- Application logs, such as the logging for workflow rules, sometimes stop logging.
- When using Business Objects as the report engine, discounts are not always displayed in the Invoice Summary report.
- Suite's clustering sub-system writes innocuous entries to the log files.
- Custom rules are using a deprecated method to send an email notification with a link to an invoice or matter summary page, and the links are not working.
- Invoice email notifications are not displaying special characters for matter and entity names.
- The first time a Suite web page is downloaded, it is initially loaded without formatting, causing the page to flicker.
- When using Business Objects and Microsoft Internet Explorer 11, the drilldowns in the Cost by Legal Section and Cost over Time reports are returning error messages.
- Users are unable to add multiple evaluation records with the same evaluation date and evaluator for the same person.
- If the MatterPlayerLimitToOnePerRole Rule is enabled when running the Global Assign Wizard, the rule is triggered and prevents reassigned records from being saved.
- The formatting on the Cost by Matter Type report sometimes causes the legend to overlap the title and chart.
- The Invoice Approval Defaults button on the Matter tab for an invoice is not removing manually entered approvers and therefore not properly restoring the default approver list.
- Resolutions:
- Application logs are now written to the data root when enabled in the Rules Engine.
- When using Business Objects as the report engine, discounts are now displayed in the Invoice Summary report.
- Changes to the darwin.properties file stop Suite's clustering sub-system from writing innocuous entries to the log files.
- Custom rules that use a deprecated method to send an email notification with a link to an invoice or matter summary page now create secure links.
- Invoice email notifications are now displaying special characters for matter and entity names.
- Pages no longer flicker when first downloaded.
- When using Business Objects and Microsoft Internet Explorer 11, the drilldowns in the Cost by Legal Section and Cost over Time reports no longer return error messages.
- Users are now able to add multiple evaluation records with the same evaluation date and evaluator for the same person.
- The Global Assign Wizard now runs correctly with the new MatterPlayerLimitToOnePerRole Rule.
- The formatting on the Cost by Matter Type report no longer causes the legend to overlap the title and chart.
- The Invoice Approval Defaults button on the Matter tab for an invoice is now removing manually entered approvers and therefore not properly restoring the default approver list.
