I don't want my users to use personal email addresses as their usernames. Can I restrict that?

Yes, you can limit users to use only the email domain you specify (for example, your company's email domain).

To restrict email addresses

  1. Select the Admin tab from anywhere in the Collaborati application. Your Firm Profile screen opens displaying your firm's preferences.
  2. Click the Settings sub-navigation link.
  3. Under Restrict Email username to domain, enter the domain name which new users must use to register their accounts. Users will be restricted from using any other email account domain when registering to use Collaborati. For example, if you type, then a person could register a Collaborati account using an email address like, but a person would not be able to register a Collaborati account using an email address like
  4. Click the Save button at the bottom of the screen to save your changes.
